Every brand needs a place to start. For PULSE., that place was a gym floor in Kuching, and the people who made it work were the ones already training there every single day.
Where it started
PULSE. did not launch with a store or a big campaign. It launched at pop up tables and gym racks, one conversation at a time. TurboFitness became the first real home for that. A rack of PULSE. pieces placed right where members already showed up to train.
Outlet by outlet, the partnership grew. Armadale came first, then Glen, then Matang. Each location brought its own community, its own regulars, its own quiet moments where someone tried on a piece between sets and decided to take it home.
None of this happened through big marketing spend. It happened because TurboFitness opened its doors and let PULSE. become part of the everyday routine.
Building it side by side
The partnership never stayed still. When Hirox came around, PULSE. and TurboFitness ran a Challenge Day together, turning a training event into a full brand moment. Members competed, sweated, and walked away wearing something new.
Along the way, PULSE. also brought TurboFitness's own trainers into the story. Instead of treating them as a separate audience, PULSE. built a commission program so trainers could earn from every piece they helped sell. No hard selling, no pressure. Just people who already trust their trainer, seeing that same trainer in a piece worth asking about.
That is community building in its simplest form. Not an ad. Not an influencer post. Just people recommending something to people they already know, because it actually holds up in training.
The impact so far
What started as a single rack turned into a rotation across three outlets, a shared event, and a trainer program that puts real income in the hands of the people who train Kuching every day.
More than the numbers, this partnership proved something PULSE. believed from day one. Clothing sells best when it shows up where the work actually happens. Not on a screen. On the gym floor, mid rep, mid rest, mid conversation.
TurboFitness gave PULSE. a place to prove that. And PULSE. gave TurboFitness members something built specifically for how they train, not just something with a logo on it.
What is next
This story is still being written. New stock keeps landing, new outlets keep opening doors, and the trainer program keeps growing as more people see what it can do for them.
The plan going forward is simple. Keep showing up. Keep listening to what members actually want out of their gear. Keep letting the partnership grow the same way it started, through real relationships instead of loud campaigns.
PULSE. did not build this brand alone, and it does not plan to start now.
Thank you, Kuching
To every TurboFitness member who picked up a piece off the rack, every trainer who wore PULSE. into a session, and every person who asked a question before buying, this is your story as much as ours.
The rack is still there. The rotation is not slowing down. And there is a lot more coming.
